What does Trader Chris Consignments sell?

Q.

Are there any items that Trader Chris does not sell?

We specialize in selling valuable collectibles, jewelry, watches, coins, and estate silver. Consignments that we accept are typically small enough to fit on a shelf, as we ship most consignments ourselves. Please visit our photo gallery to get a better idea of the items that sell best or contact us if you're not sure about an item.

Q.

A.

Some items have a hard time selling online and as a result, we don’t typically accept them for consignment.

These items include most china sets, furniture, the majority of books, local artwork, and modern collectibles such as Beanie Babies, Dickens Village, NASCAR, etc. If you’re not sure, just ask.

The consignment process begins with a consultation.  If you are able to provide pictures and/or a general description of your items (brand, quantity, condition, etc.), we can usually provide a free, no-obligation assessment of your items via phone or e-mail. After we answer any questions that you may have and complete a consignment agreement, we will prepare your items for sale. This process includes minor cleaning / repair, taking professional quality photographs of your item (with Photoshop editing), and creating a detailed write-up of each consignment. After items are listed for sale, we handle all correspondence with prospective buyers, payment collection, and the packing & shipping of your item to its new home.
